Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 8 September 2026
This policy covers paid SkyAudit subscriptions. [This entire policy is a starting draft — final refund terms should be confirmed as an internal decision, then checked against the Consumer Protection Act and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act before publishing, since both can affect what's enforceable.]
1. Subscription fees
Subscription fees are billed in advance for each billing period. Once a billing period has started, fees for that period are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where we've made a billing error.
2. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription with one month's written notice to info@skyaudit.co.za. Your subscription remains active, and billable, until the end of that notice period.
3. Once-off fees
[If onboarding/setup fees apply: state clearly here whether these are refundable, and under what conditions — e.g. non-refundable once onboarding has begun.]
4. Cooling-off
Depending on how a subscription is entered into, South Africa's Electronic Communications and Transactions Act may give you a right to cancel certain electronic transactions within 7 days without penalty. [Whether and how this applies to a B2B SaaS subscription needs legal confirmation — don't rely on this section as-is.]
5. Billing errors
If you're charged in error — a duplicate charge, or an amount that doesn't match your agreed plan — contact us and we'll investigate and refund any confirmed error.
6. How to request a refund
Email info@skyaudit.co.za with your account details and the reason for your request.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the version in force at the time of your subscription applies to it.
